Not cheat sheets – just ways of shifting the back and forth towards deeper issues. The more direct and transparent your cues, the more beneficial the interaction. It’s like prompt-building for reflective equilibrium – the more you practice, the more agile you’ll become at it.

The Guardrails That Keep This Useful

AI serves as a backup system and not a clinical solution. This distinction is important and needs to be articulated clearly.

No AI tool can replace a therapist who has been trained to diagnose or treat mental health issues. It cannot replace a true human bond, the regulatory impact of physical touch, or the relational atonement of a competent therapist. Your biofeedback data from your wearables can coincide with your AI journaling, but these too cannot replace a clinician’s evaluation for when something is truly wrong.
